About Tarnya’s Homemade

Tarnya’s Homemade began in 2020 in Folkestone, Kent, during one of the most challenging times. After being made redundant while on maternity leave with a newborn baby, what started as a small idea from home quickly grew into something incredible.

​

From those early days, we went from baking in our kitchen to supplying desserts across multiple platforms including Just Eat, Uber Eats and Folkestone Eats – eventually going on to purchase the Folkestone Eats platform ourselves. It was a journey built on passion, determination and a love for creating delicious, homemade treats.

Since relocating to Suffolk, Tarnya’s Homemade has continued to grow. We now proudly operate from our much-loved Cake Shed – a unique, self-serve sweet and cake hub where customers can grab freshly made treats, pick ‘n’ mix and more.

​

We are open at least 5 days a week, but as a small, fresh-baking business, we often sell out – so we always recommend keeping an eye on our Facebook page for the latest opening times, updates and restocks.

Alongside our counter and sweet selection, we also specialise in bespoke orders, including celebration cakes, birthday cakes and larger custom creations, all made with care and attention to detail.
